A metroidvania born out of 2-month student project which grew me a solid foundation in Level Design, Teamwork and Unity(engine).
CONTRIBUTIONS:
Level Design: Backtracking • Anchored levels around mechanics such as slide and wallbreak. • Unlocking mechanics would unlock new paths in existing levels leading to the next ability. • Produced 3 full levels with a boss fight in 2 months where 5 of us took ownership over everything between programming to art.
Game Dev: Scripting and technical design • Took ownership of the tech-stack ranging from scripting mechanics, syncing animations, creating UI/UX and setting up editor tools to collaborate with the level designer.
